MASA’s soccer trainers are equipped with knowledge from playing, watching, studying, and coaching the sport for several years. With this knowledge comes incredible playing tips and tricks that you can apply on the field, whether you play offense, mid-field, or defense. All 1-on-1 soccer training sessions are customized to your training goals and needs. A MASA soccer trainer will structure your first scheduled session like an assessment, running you through exercises to look at your overall performance in your position. If you play offense or mid-field, you can expect a MASA trainer to assess you in the following areas: Ball control (dribbling and receiving passes) Ball distribution (throwing and passing) Footwork (speed, agility, and quickness) Overall accuracy and power in every type of shot If you play defense, you can expect a MASA trainer to assess you in the following areas: Reaction time and footwork: when and how to step to the opponent with the ball Ball control: how to keep the ball close in proximity once getting it from opponent Ball clearance: how to send the ball up the field once getting it from opponent Once the initial assessment is complete, a MASA soccer trainer will put together a personalized plan that factors in your goals, your playing level, your areas of improvement, and your recommended weekly training frequency.
