When? Monday, August 19th - Thursday, August 22nd, 2024. 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. Where? King Farm Park. 401 Watkins Pond Blvd, Rockville, MD 20850 Join us for an exciting 4-day goalkeeper clinic, where we further the development and level of performance for soccer goalkeepers. We will be focusing on every aspect of the position. Each segment of our sessions will be broken down into specific unites that serve to challenge the ability of each participating goalkeeper. We'll be focused on the following: - Communication. - Positional Awareness. - Verbal Commands. - Posture. - Foot Placement & Controlled Movement. - Timing and Threat Assessment. - Collapse Dives. - Extension Dives. - Grips: W-Grip, Baskets, Scooping, Front-Smother, and Danish Saves. - Reflexes and Hand-Eye Coordination. - Launching and Air Durability. - Ball Distribution. - Terminology (Understanding Soccer Terms in Different Languages.) - New/Recently Updated Rules on The Game, and How it Affects Goalkeepers. - Finger and Wrist Taping. - Glove Care - Additional Questions and Topics may also be Covered.
